Eric Mrak
Community Technologist
Eric Mrak was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. Throughout these years he tried virtually every sport available to a growing boy with soccer being his all-time favorite. After high school he started college in Davis, California and immediately discovered several truths: 1) it is OK to walk barefoot in the grass as there are no ticks or chiggers as there are in Arknasas, 2) the word “hella” is to be used as an adverb and not as an adjective, 3) abstract mathematics is not what he wanted to study after all and 4) that he missed the unpredictable weather back home. He finished his undergraduate degree in computer science and proceeded straight to graduate school at the University of Michigan. He is now a second-semester student specializing in human-computer interaction.
